A beautiful sunny day and my new bike arrived, so I quickly put it together and headed up to Pendam.

Met Shem and Sol there so had a really easy ride around the lakes to try out the bike. Bumped into Stu and Rosie too so had plenty of people to admire the new mean green machine... And Green it most certainly is!

After a couple of goes down the Hippity Hops Shem and Sol headed home so I went around the Pendam trail on my own.

Bike felt good, but will take a little bit of getting used to and dialling in. I think I'll change the rear tyre too and the Maxxis Larsen TT that it came with may be very fast rolling but isn't much use on wet slippery rocks and mud.
